I'm not going to spend too much time on this one because I found an article that sums up how I feel better than I could. It comes from Kent Williams, a writer for the Little Village magazine out of Iowa City, Iowa.
Did you know that we as a country have already implemented Socialistic policies? And if you think we're a pure Capitalist country...then you'd be wrong about that too.
Please read this article and stop calling Obama a Socialist. Because you might find out that you yourself...can be educated.

We have implemented a lot of socialist ideals. Both Democrats and Republicans. It's quite sad.
I'm completely open to implementing different types of policies in our government. I don't think that our way of governing is the beat all end all. Maybe there are some ideas we can take from Europe and implement them here.....even if by definition they are Socialist.
